Farm News
While not technically fall yet, it sure feels like the seasons are changing. Last week brought the start of school, cooler days, and earlier sun sets. For the farm this means fall crops are starting to show up in the CSA boxes. This week we have the first of our fall brassicas (kale) and winter squash (delicata).

The shorter days are nice in theory but we still have a lot to get done this time of year. We’ve had a tractor with head lights for 2 years now and they certainly get used! While the work load remains heavy, we are slowly ticking off jobs. The greenhouse is officially empty! Our final planting of lettuce came out today and is getting acclimated before it gets planted out later this week. I’m really glad I don’t have to water in the greenhouse anymore! One less thing to think about is very welcome!
